This season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days has featured Forrest Atwood-Mckenzie and his family. His mother, Molly Atwood-Frank, has been along for the ride, but she has a very controversial relationship with her son. Recently, she has been accused of stealing his disability checks. Now, she is breaking her silence on whether that is true or not. Keep reading for more details.

Did Forrest’s Mom Steal His Disability Money?

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days fans have been questioning Forrest Atwood-McKenzie and his mother, Molly Atwood-Frank. They have an odd relationship, even going to a sex shop together, which made viewers extremely uncomfortable. Regardless, he was headed to the Philippines to meet his longtime love, Sheena. Therefore, he took his mother, Molly Atwood-Frank, and his stepfather, Dev, along for the ride. Now, keep in mind that Forrest does not work and lives off of his disability due to his autism.

His mother has been accused of stealing Forrest’s checks and using them for herself. Rumors have been going around regarding this and that Molly is his caretaker, likely because of her accompanying him to the Philippines. However, she maintains that it is not the case, and he is completely independent. She has clapped back against all of this, making it clear that this is not the case and never has been:

“We have never received financial support, financial assistance, or any type of payment connected to Forrest – not from him, not for him, and not from anyone else on his behalf.”

The 90 Day Fiance star also noted that fans can come directly to her, her husband, or Forrest if they have any questions. Of course, viewers were not so sure that this was true. They feel something fishy is going on and has been for some time between Molly and Forrest. Moreover, they feel that she does overstep her boundaries just a touch when it comes to his relationship with Sheena.

    Is Molly Too Much?

After Molly came out with her message, 90 Day Fiance fans were mixed on Molly. Although they believed that she needed to step back, they did understand her being protective. Some jumped to her defense:

    • Molly is definitely a bit over the top; however, any parent who knows there’s been a pattern of lying from a future daughter/son-in-law is going to be worried.
    • His mom does need to step back a bit but I do understand that she’s looking out for him and I can see why.

Additionally, fans really wanted Sheena and Forrest to work out. However, they did not think that they could move forward unless Sheena was completely transparent. Plus, the couple had to understand that Molly would always be a part of their lives, good or bad.

Do you believe that Molly is independent of Forrest’s disability money, or is she saving face? Let us know and watch 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Sundays on TLC.
