Both Jen Arnold and Bill Klein have skeletal dysplasia, a form of dwarfism. That alone causes major health problems on top of the everyday life challenges. Jen Arnold successfully fought a rare form of cancer in 2013. The couple faced fertility issues and adopted two children, Will and Zoey, who also have forms of dwarfism. The family shared their lives on TLC’s The Little Couple for a decade.
Between the two of them, Jen Arnold and Bill Klein have had dozens of surgeries for various issues. He went under the knife in 2025 after breaking yet another bone, a common occurrence with him.
Jen Arnold Shares Update After ‘Scary’ Surgery
Jen Arnold and Bill Klein aren’t the only family members with medical issues. Her mother sought treatment for months. The former TLC star didn’t get too specific, but one fan speculated her mom suffered from heart issues.
Jen Arnold’s mom had surgery in February, but took a turn for the worse. She ended up in the ICU unexpectedly. But The Little Couple shared an update on her mom’s health on social media this week.
“I wanted to share with everyone that my mom is doing better and she is home recovering from her surgery. It was a pretty scary roller coaster but she’s now on the mend. I cannot thank everyone enough for all of your prayers and good thoughts,” – Jen Arnold, Instagram.
