The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has become known for her romantic endeavors. One of them was with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan. It became tumultuous and eventually on and off. Now, she is sharing how the relationship “traumatized” her, but what was so awful? Keep reading for more details on the RHOM romance.
Larsa Pippen ‘Traumatized’ Over Marcus Jordan
When RHOM first premiered in 2011, Larsa Pippen was a main cast member. Not only was she married to NBA superstar Scottie Pippen, but she was also close to Kim Kardashian. She was a main cast member for Miami for the first season, then exited until its reboot for Season 4 in 2021. Larsa and Scottie divorced, and she and Kim ended their friendship. Yet, she would not be on her own for long. She still had children to raise and would soon fall for Marcus Jordan. He was the son of Michael Jordan, who played on the Chicago Bulls alongside Scottie Pippen.
Marcus was also about sixteen years younger than Larsa, but they seemed fairly happy. Unfortunately, Michael did not care for their relationship and never hid that. The two ended up breaking up, after being on and off, and she has since moved on. However, Larsa just opened up about her romance with Marcus on the Separation Anxiety podcast and claimed she was “traumatized.” Mainly by how Michael treated her when they were together and the things that he said:
“I didn’t think it was funny. There’s nothing funny about it. I was kind of embarrassed. I was like traumatized. I’m like, ‘Oh my God. What are we going to do?’ People think I lied.”
What was interesting was that Scottie and Michael were seemingly nothing more than teammates. They were not close, and that is why the RHOM star was so hurt about the comments Michael made. She had no idea he would feel that way, and more so, say it on a public forum.
Are Her Feelings Valid?
Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan had a toxic romance, which is a fact. At one point, the RHOM star made a social media breakup post. However, she and Marcus Jordan were just having a bad day and got back together shortly thereafter. Yet, after learning that Michael Jordan did not care for her, was she valid in being “traumatized,” or was that too strong a term? Followers actually stood by Michael when he first spoke out against the relationship:
- Michael knows she’s a mess that’s why lol
- I don’t blame Michael from wanting his son away from a woman with the dating history Larsa has.
- Mike never talks so the fact he said anything means it really p*sses him off
