Christine Quinn won’t be returning to the “Selling Sunset” cast unless her key demands are granted.

According to sources with direct knowledge about the TV personality’s situation, her comeback isn’t certain, as there were critical issues to be addressed.

Christine Quinn’s return to the Netflix series began making waves in February when she revealed she was in talks with producers. The news came amid reports of a major cast shakeup.

Sources claimed Quinn’s return to the reality TV series has not been set in stone because of a pressing issue, the entertainer’s living arrangements. The problem arose due to Quinn’s current residence in the Dallas area with her son, Christian.

Quinn reportedly moved to Dallas in 2025 for a fresh start following her divorce from Christian Dumontet, a tech entrepreneur. Quinn’s full-time residence in the area posed a major problem for “Selling Sunset” producers as the show required her relocation to Los Angeles.

Sources told TMZ that showrunners needed Quinn to stay in Los Angeles for 5 to 6 months, and they were currently in talks to find a middle ground. Their options included a possible split-time arrangement between Dallas and Los Angeles, but Quinn also had key demands that needed to be addressed.

According to sources, another reason for the stalled agreement between showrunners and Quinn was her demand for financial support. She reportedly wanted producers to foot the bill for her travel and accommodations in Los Angeles.

The claims of Quinn’s demands followed recent reports of a major cast shakeup to accommodate Quinn’s return and the introduction of a new cast member named Tara Sarbaz. Reality Tea covered the story, noting sources claimed Chelsea Lazkani and Nicole Young had been fired.

The duo was allegedly fired as part of a cast shakeup following the exit of Chrishell Stause at the end of season 9. The last season saw Stause and Lazkani at odds with the Oppenheim Group, hence the reported need for Quinn and a newcomer to set a new tune for Season 10.

Following news of Quinn’s return and Lazkani on the chopping block, the latter responded in a series of posts on Threads. She seemingly called out Quinn in her retort, writing: “You do know you can’t take what’s meant for me, right?”

Lazkani also slammed the show, stressing that if producers wanted to fire her, then they should do it loudly and proudly while stating the reason for her exit. She added that if she chose to leave of her own accord, she would make that clear as well.

The TV personality implied the termination news was fake, telling fans not to believe anything that didn’t come from her, as she doesn’t speak to the press. Additionally, Lazkani noted that she would not tolerate any “games, disrespect, or weird behavior” before claiming the false news was “planted.”

The Netflix Show Reportedly Delayed Filming To Sign The Comeback Deal

Days earlier, The Blast reported that Quinn was getting special treatment from Netflix. Sources claimed filming for season 10 of “Selling Sunset” had been delayed so Quinn could sign her comeback contract.

Production was paused amid Quinn’s ongoing negotiations with showrunners, which first made headlines in February. At the time, Quinn revealed she was in talks with producers but was on the fence about her return to the Oppenheim Group.

According to Quinn, she was always open to having fun and closing real estate deals on the show. However, certain things had to be clear before she could commit to another season. As for her relationship with her old castmates, Quinn claimed she was still in contact with some of the cast.

Quinn left “Selling Sunset” at the end of season 5 on a sour note over allegations of bribery. Marie Claire reported that Emma Hernan had accused Quinn of bribing a client with $5,000. She told Jason Oppenheim and Mary Fitzgerald that Quinn did so to make the client stop working with her.

Quinn vehemently denied the allegations and refused to attend a disciplinary meeting, arguing that she didn’t need to report to “mommy and daddy.” Thus, season 5 ended without Quinn clearing her name in the group, and Netflix hosted its first-ever “Selling Sunset” reunion show.

The reunion was meant to be Quinn’s chance to clear the air about what happened with Hernan, but she didn’t show up. Quinn’s rep, at the time, claimed she had tested positive for COVID-19. Some, like Chrishell Stause, called BS on her claims, and Jason confirmed that Quinn no longer had a place at Oppenheim.
