Season 7 of Unexpected has some feisty mothers, and one of them is Falen Vaughn. Her daughter, Bella, was just fourteen when she got pregnant by Hunter, who was only twelve. This has caused quite a stir on the hit TLC series, and now, Bella’s co-star, Isabella Leal-Stone, is slamming Falen. So, what is her issue with Falen, and what warranted calling her a “f*cking psycho”? Keep reading for more details.
Isabella Bashes Bella’s Mom
The girls on this season of Unexpected do not always have the best female role models. Mia’s mother, Nicole, has been in and out of jail, plus she was hours late to her baby shower. Yet, she wants to be in the delivery room although she is consistently unreliable and rude. Therefore, Mia lives with her father and is very close to her boyfriend’s mother. Isabella Leal-Stone’s mother is on probation, while Bella Vaughn’s mom, Falen, is an enabler. Finally, Amya’s mother, Mama G, never gave her the sex talk, believing she was a lesbian.
As the season rolls on, more and more drama between families has ensued. However, the girls, and even some parents, are on social media, answering questions and speaking their truths. Recently, Isabella came on and shared her thoughts on Bella’s mother, Falen. First off, she noted that she has attempted to reach out to the now sixteen-year-old, but with no luck. She then went on to add how bad she felt for Bella’s living situation and having to grow up with a mom like Falen:
“ … I’m praying for [Bella], her mom’s f**king psycho.”
The big issue, at least for Isabella, was that Falen did not want Bella to break up with Hunter. This was something that came up on the show, and Unexpected fans were shocked. They felt that Bella should be able to do what she wanted, given that she was only fifteen. Some even questioned why Falen was so attached to Hunter, to the point that she would not let him go. Isabella noted:
“ … like, how are you gonna tell your daughter, ‘You can’t break up with your boyfriend,’ that’s like, that’s bizarre to me.”
Inconceivable To Isabella
Isabella Leal-Stone is facing her own issues this season of Unexpected. The Texas native’s boyfriend, Bryce Palmer, had refused to get a job, even at $10 an hour. Moreover, he allegedly hit her, and his family treats Isabella horribly. Yet, her mother tries to defend her, though she cannot go too far or she will go back to prison.
It is a very fine line, but Isabella and Bryce have worked things out. Ultimately, Isabella is just worried for Bella, and that is why she has spoken out against Falen:
“I really dislike her, too, [and] I feel bad for her daughter. That’s all I’m gonna say. I’m praying for that girl. I hope when she turns 18, she runs as far away as she can get.”
