The season 4 finale of the Hulu reality show revealed that the exes hooked up the night before Taylor Frankie Paul left to film the ABC dating show.
Utah’s Draper City police confirmed to multiple outlets that there is an open domestic violence investigation into Taylor Frankie Paul. The police were reportedly called on February 24 and February 25 for incidents involving the former couple. The allegations claim that Taylor Frankie Paul got violent with Dakota Mortensen.
Bachelorette Loses Big Money Amid Scandal
The investigation is ongoing. But the negative press is already costing ABC money. A huge company that had only recently announced a collaboration with The Bachelorette dropped the network amid the scandal.
Cinnabon announced a ‘Swirled Soda’ collaboration with The Bachelorette and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in early March. The Secret Lives has popularized a “dirty soda” trend. The non-alcoholic drink “spikes” soda with coffee creamer, flavored syrups and fruit juices.
“Cinnabon has made the decision to terminate its collaboration with The Bachelorette and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” the company said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “Recent developments and allegations surrounding the lead cast member led us to reassess this collaboration as it no longer aligns with our brand values.”
Cinnabon is the first company to cut ties with The Bachelorette amid Taylor Frankie Paul’s scandal, but they might not be the last.
Fans Wonder If ABC Will Cancel Season
The Bachelorette is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 22. Many fans were already turned off from watching after news broke that Taylor Frankie Paul hooked up with her ex right before filming. Now fans are calling for ABC to cancel the whole season amid the domestic violence allegations.
