Dirty Rotten Scandals Exposes Ugly Truth Behind Several TV Shows
Netflix recently aired a docuseries about America’s Next Top Model. While the docuseries revealed problematic behavior on the reality show, fans didn’t think it went deep enough. The E! network had a project in the works that exposed even more horror stories from ANTM and two other shows.
The Price Is Right and Dr. Phil are the subjects of multiple episodes diving deep into the drama happening behind the scenes. The ugly truth about the CBS game show reveals sexual harassment and more harrowing stories from the models.
The Price Is Right Models Detail Horrific Sexual Harassment
Comedian Drew Carey took over as host of The Price Is Right after beloved host Bob Barker. The longtime host retired in 2007. One of the most famous parts of the show was Barker’s Beauties,” the gorgeous female models showing off the prizes. Male models were added during Drew Carey’s tenure.

The new E! documentary exposes the truth about Bob Barker and his “beauties.” Former models Kathleen Bradley and Holly Hallstrom reveal what it was really like on the set of the game show. “When I initially started the show, everybody was pretty cool, really friendly, especially the crew. But over a course of time, I kind of noticed the guys were kind of talking, looking, gawking at the girls. I found out this is a little more commonplace than I thought,” Kathleen Bradley said.
It wasn’t just Bob Barker who was a problem. The former model details that the staff on the set were also sexually harassing the women. “One guy in particular. He was a little friendly, too friendly. He would rub up against us, joking around. It’s totally inappropriate. I learned the stagehand had been around on the set for a long time and was probably doing it to all the other girls,” Kathleen Brady recalled.

She reported it to the head honchos but nothing happened. So she took matters into her own hands. She asked the stagehand to teach her how to golf and “accidentally” hit him in the groin with the golf club.
A former producer claimed in the documentary that she was sexually assaulted in the elevator when a man grabbed her breast. The sexual harassment reportedly got so bad that CBS had to intervene.
CBS Implemented 10-Second Rule
Kathleen Brady revealed the shocking way CBS handled the complaints. The network allegedly implemented a 10-second rule. People on set were allowed to stare at the models for ten seconds.
“There was no one monitoring how long the guys were staring at the models. It was a joke. It was an appeasement. They did things that made it look like they were taking action, so you will stop complaining and go away,” Holly Hallstrom said.
The former Price Is Right model added that the harassment took a “toll” on the models. “There was fighting on the sets, yelling, and it was massive. And it ultimately, I think, destroyed The Price is Right.”
Dirty Rotten Scandals: The Price Is Right premieres Wednesday, March 18 at 9:00 PM Eastern on E!.
