Hulu has renewed Paradise, the hit Dan Fogelman drama series, starring Sterling K. Brown, for a third season.
The news arrives ahead of the highly anticipated Season 2 finale, scheduled for March 30th. The first season of the show earned huge praise when it was released in 2025, including four Emmy nominations (Outstanding Drama Series and acting noms for Brown, James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson). This left the second season with high expectations. So far, though, it seems poised to be another major contender for the upcoming cycle of awards.
According to Disney Stats, the show has held the top spot on the streamer’s Top 15 Today list since its Season 2 launch. It also revealed the political thriller has amassed 30 million hours of viewership for Season 2 and driven an additional 25 million hours to its inaugural season. In total, the show has been streamed for nearly 12 billion minutes globally.
The second season follows Xavier (Brown) as he embarks on a quest to find his wife, journeying out from the Paradise bunker for the first time since the planet’s destruction. While he searches for her, he encounters bands of survivors and learns how they survived the three years since catastrophe struck Earth. Back in Colorado, tensions continue rising to the surface as the community grapples with broken trust and newly unveiled secrets.
The ensemble for the show includes Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Enuka Okuma, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans, with recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty and Jon Beavers. It was created by and executive produced by Fogelman (This Is Us), the 20th Television production also includes EPs Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, John Requa and Brown.
Season 2 of Paradise is now streaming on Disney+.
