Joy Behar asked Whoopi Goldberg if she misses “those days.” The moderator replied that she is single, as the actress has been divorced three times. None of the marriages lasted very long. She was married to her first husband, Alvin Martin, from 1973 until 1979.
The Ghost star’s second marriage to David Claessen lasted two years. Whoopi Goldberg’s third marriage to Lyle Trachtenberg only lasted a year. She has also had several high-profile romances, most notably with Cheers star Ted Danson.
