Mama June & Pumpkin Opened Their Mouths
Followers of Mama June know that, when Anna Cardwell passed away, she left behind two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee. Kylee went to live with her biological father and Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell. He also wanted custody of Kaitlyn as he had been in her life since she was a baby. Yet, June fought tooth and nail and ultimately was granted custody of Anna’s firstborn. The hope was that Kylee and Kaitlyn would remain close, especially after losing their mother. However, Kylee lived in Alabama while Kaitlyn was in Georgia, so distance was a problem.
Mama June recently claimed that Michael had blocked Kaitlyn, but his wife, London Cardwell, vehemently denied any of this. Anna’s sister, Pumpkin Efird, soon came out and claimed that the Cardwells will not let June, Pumpkin, or that side see Kylee. Yet, they want Kaitlyn to be available whenever they come to town. Michael’s mother intervened and alleged that she had tried to play mediator, but to no avail. Now, London has made a video sending a very clear message to Mama June and Pumpkin, featuring a very happy Kylee.

Essentially, London is making it clear that Kylee is excelling and doing amazingly well with her father and stepmother. She is a new person and has never looked or felt better. Some who saw the video felt that it was a direct message to Pumpkin and June. Is she starting a war, or simply finishing one? That is unclear, but fans are thrilled to see Kylee thriving. At the same time, others wish the adults could just work out their problems in a more mature way.
There Needs To Be Resolution
Anna Cardwell’s little sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, made it clear that the adults need to handle this in a better manner. This has gotten out of hand, but everyone knows that Mama June cannot keep her mouth shut. Again, there were mixed reactions to London Cardwell’s TikTok, some great and some not so positive:
- This is childish and petty. Those girls should be able to see/communicate with each other regularly and the adults need to be civil and allow it with no drama.
- Despite everything going on I love seeing how happy that smile on kylees face. Her momma would be so happy to see you doing a wonderful job raising her. ❤️
- Just petty if you wanted to do a petty video against pumpkin do not put the little girl in the video
It looks like followers are torn over what to think, and no one is right in this situation. Some have suggested that any negativity Kaitlyn is hearing regarding Michael is coming from Mama June. However, none of this should matter. The bottom line is getting these girls together as often as possible.
