Freedom Mobile tweaked its plans, adding more data to match offers from competing providers.

Here’s a list of Freedom’s current plans, along with any relevant changes:

    • $35/10GB + 1GB Roam Beyond – unchanged.
    • $40/100GB + 10GB Roam Beyond (includes $10/mo ongoing discount) – previously $40/60GB.
    • $50/250GB + 50GB Roam Beyond (includes $30/mo ongoing discount) – unchanged.
    • $50/150GB + 20GB Roam Beyond (includes $10/mo ongoing discount) – previously $50/100GB.
    • $60/200GB + 30GB Roam Beyond (includes $10/mo ongoing discount) – previously $60/150GB.

The above plans all include Canada/U.S./Mexico calling, texting, and data, unlimited talk and text in Canada, unlimited Roam Beyond talk and text, a $5 autopay ‘Digital Discount,’ and ongoing credits for bring your own phone (BYOP) customers.

Freedom plans as of March 20, 2026.

For the last couple of weeks, Freedom and other wireless providers have been in something of a price war, with carriers launching weekend flash sales and then rushing to match each other’s offers.

It started with Freedom launching a $40/250GB deal early in March. It initially was around for one weekend, then Freedom brought it back for another weekend. The plan is still available, but now costs $50/mo.

Several other wireless providers responded to Freedom’s $40/250GB with their own weekend flash sales, such as Public Mobile bumping up the data on its plans and Koodo offering a 25 per cent discount on its plans.

However, Public hasn’t ended its data increase yet. (At the time of writing, Public’s website listed March 25 as the end date for its current plan suite.) Freedom’s plan changes match Public, with both providers now offering $40/100GB and $50/150GB plans. Public’s $35 plan, however, offers way more data than Freedom’s, with 80GB total.

That said, it’s also worth pointing out that Freeodom still has the $50/250GB plan, which makes the $50/150GB and $60/200GB plans redundant. All the plans are marked as limited-time offers, but Freedom doesn’t specify an end date, so it’s not clear how long things will stick around for (but I suspect Freedom won’t remove its offers until Public does on March 25).
