Laura Loomer recently had a few choice words for Megyn Kelly. This was over a recent post shared on social media, in which Kelly discussed a merged flag that appeared during a Fox News segment. This also brought about a discussion over a previous post shared by Kelly.
The Merged Flag Appeared To Have Originated In A Fox & Friends Segment Over The Strait Of Hormuz
Both Loomer and Kelly are known for their work as political commentators and internet personalities. Loomer has worked with organizations including Geller Report, Rebel News, and InfoWars. She also hosts Loomer Unleashed on Rumble.
Kelly is also known for her background with Fox News, including The Kelly File and America Live. She also hosts the podcast and radio series, The Megyn Kelly Show, which launched in 2020.
Recently, Loomer had a few choice words for Kelly after the latter discussed Fox News merging the U.S. and Israel flags during an on-air segment. Taking to X, Kelly reposted a share from journalist Eric Spracklen in which he wrote, “The Fox News graphic merging the American and Israeli flag is absolutely disgusting to me.” She included a screenshot of the blended flag. She added, “Holy s— is this real?”
Kelly expressed her point further in a comment to one poster asking what the issue was. She continued, “You don’t put another country’s flag on the USA flag, ever. We don’t share it. We treat the flag as inviolate. It’s extremely inappropriate.”
Commenters Shared Mixed Reactions To The Merged Flags On Social Media
The flag appeared to have been used during a Fox and Friends segment. The combined flags appeared in the segment’s chyron, which read, “Protecting Hormuz: Trump rallies allies to help protect key shipping routes.”
Spracklen’s post featured Benjamin Hall, Fox News’s London-based State Department correspondent. He was discussing the ongoing conflict in the Middle East at the time. In particular, Hall shared updates over the Strait of Hormuz crisis, which saw the waterway effectively closed by Iranian actions.

As noted by The U.S. Express, Loomer took issue with Kelly combining the flags, noting that she had once combined the U.S. and Iranian flags in the past. At the time, she asked, “Megyn, can you explain why we can’t have a blended graphic of the US and Israeli flags, but you can blend the US flag and the Islamic regime in Iran’s flag?”
Loomer also included a screenshot of the combined flags. She continued, “How is the Israeli flag worse than the Iranian flag? Why are you so inconsistent and full of s***? Here’s [sic] the screenshot from your own YouTube page.”
On social media, many commenters shared mixed reactions to the story. Many similarly called out Kelly, while others were more sympathetic, saying that Kelly’s flag had more of a clear divide, suggesting it wasn’t as “blended” as Fox News’ merged flag. Others touched on other times Kelly appeared to merge flags, including one that merged the Chinese and U.S. flags.
.@megynkelly has to be the dumbest woman in media.
Here she is expressing faux outrage over a Fox News graphic blending an America flag and an Israeli flag. She said “holy shit is this real”?
