    An Amber Alert issued after two young children who were reported missing on Saturday in Trois-Rivières, Que., about 150 kilometres northeast of Montreal, has ended. Quebec provincial police said the children were located Sunday morning and are safe.

    An Amber Alert issued after two young children were reported missing on Saturday in Trois-Rivières, Que., about 150 kilometres northeast of Montreal, has ended.

    The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said on Sunday morning that both children were found safe and sound in Saint-Paulin, northwest of Trois-Rivières.

    A suspect was arrested and is expected to meet with investigators later in the day, the SQ said.

    The alert was issued at about 4 a.m. ET. on Sunday.
