Kim is known for a variety of ventures, but she and her family were introduced to many through the E! reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Following this, the family has also been the focus of the Hulu series, The Kardashians.
Hamilton, a British racing driver, has been attached to Kim since 2026. The two were first seen attending Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, together.
However, the two have reportedly been friends with each other for around a decade. Over the past few months, Kim and Lewis have been seen at a bunch of different places. This includes London, Paris, Arizona, and California.
That said, there is one person who may not be too much of a fan of the budding relationship. According to In Touch, a source recently shared that the F1 driver’s mom, Carmen Larbalestier, has a few concerns about her son’s new romance.
The Insider Warned That The Racer & His Mother Were Quite Close
The insider shared that Carmen is worried that the relationship wouldn’t last. As the source explained, “From Carmen’s perspective, the Kardashian lifestyle isn’t something that really meshes with her son’s personality long-term. She feels he’d be better off partnered with someone that’s much more low-key and private.”
The source believed that Kim should be concerned about this, as Lewis is known to be close to his mother. Notably, she spent time with him ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix on March 15, while Kim attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
As shared by the outlet, the insider continued, “Lewis is incredibly close to his mom, and her opinion carries a lot of weight with him. Ultimately, if she doesn’t give Kim the thumbs up, it’s hard to imagine Lewis won’t be swayed by that. He calls his mom the ‘first love’ of his life, so that should tell you everything about how much influence she has with him.”
For his part, in a recent share on social media, Lewis highlighted that, “Spending time with my mum has brought me so much joy. Some of what I’ve seen has been so beautiful, it’s almost indescribable.” This caused one fan to write, “Not Lewis taking his mum to every country he races in this year.”
