Tom Rizzo Begs For Prayers
When Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin exited On Patrol: Live, viewers had no idea what to expect and who would take his place. Fortunately, Captain Tom Rizzo came in, and fans immediately fell in love. He was witty, charming, smart, and knew exactly what he was doing. Even when Sticks would return, the banter was perfection. Sadly, he was recently MIA from the show and had asked his fans and followers for prayers. No one knew what was going on, yet they obliged and made sure to know he was loved. However, Rizzo has now spoken up and out regarding his life and a big, but tragic update.
He shared a video via social media and began by discussing where he placed in the Mr. Health & Fitness competition. The goal of his trying to win was to “fund childhood cancer research, and bring awareness to the fight against childhood cancer.” Ultimately, he came in second in the quarter-finals, but then he noted that there was an interesting spin. As he was attempting to do something great for childhood cancer, one of his daughters had been admitted to the hospital with an aggressive form of cancer.
It was a horrible turn of events, and it now makes sense why he so desperately wanted and needed prayers. Moreover, it explains his absence, but he became incredibly emotional at the end of the video. The On Patrol: Live analyst apologized for not winning the competition, which was completely irrelevant given what he was facing. Yet, Rizzo promised that he would find the strength for himself and his children to push on.
He has three daughters and one son, who are his absolute world. Immediately, his fans and followers chimed in with so much love and encouragement.
Everything Will Be Alright
When On Patrol: Live fans learned of what was going on with Captain Tom Rizzo, who worked out of Howell Township, New Jersey, they were blown away. Moreover, they were shocked that he even apologized for coming up short in the Mr. Health & Fitness competition. Of course, that was a diversion from his daughter’s aggressive cancer diagnosis. Ultimately, he was just trying to find light and courage in the darkest of hours:
- You didn’t come up short you’re right where you need to be!
- I’m sending up smoke, prayers, and anything else that may help. You are a warrior, so I guarantee she is also!
