Google has announced that Search Live is now available in Canada and globally. Search Live allows users to have interactive multimodal conversations with Search in AI Mode.
To go live with Search, open the Google app on Android or iOS and tap the Live icon under the Search bar. Following that, you can ask your question out loud to receive an audio response, and continue with follow-up questions or learn more with web links.
And Search Live works with videos as well, enabling your phone’s camera to add visual context in case you need help installing your new shelves. Search Live also works if you’re in the camera app with Google Lens. When in Google Lens, tap the Live option at the bottom of the screen to start conversing with what you see in the real world.
Search Live is enabled by using the newly released Gemini 3.1 Flash Live.
