At 83, The View host Joy Behar still has what it takes to turn heads. She shared a story about how she was recently propositioned by a young ‘stud’. Her husband’s arrival put a damper on any shenanigans. Keep reading for all the details on the surprising incident.

Joy Behar Propositioned By Young ‘Stud’

Joy Behar is on her second marriage. Her first marriage to Joe Behar ended in 1981 after he allegedly cheated on her. She often turns the heartbreaking divorce into part of her comedy act. She met her second husband in 1992. However, they didn’t marry until 2011.

Despite being off the market, Joy Behar still gets hit on. She shared the story on the show’s Behind the Table podcast of a recent incident. The action went down while playing cards at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. The View executive producer Brian Teta asked her for details after hearing about it from the show’s staff.

“I was sitting in the middle there at the table, and he was on the end. He suddenly throws a $100 bill at me. Like, to play,” Joy Behar recalled. She said she threw the money back, telling the suitor that she didn’t need it. He tried again to give her the money.

Joy Behar said he didn’t seem to recognize her from the show or know she was famous. Brian Teta asked if she was flirting with the man. She didn’t answer the question, but revealed the man’s strange request. He asked Joy Behar to call him a “stud” when telling her friends and family about the encounter.

    Her Husband Interrupted Moment

The moment between Joy Behar and the “stud” was ruined by her husband. He joined the table. When the mystery man found out that she was married, he said, “I guess we won’t be going to your room later?”

The “stud” then threw another $100 bill at her, which made her husband mad. He demanded that she return the money. Instead, she took half the money and used it to play cards because she’d lost $50 of her own money. However, she did give the “stud” back the other half.

Brian Teta joked that the encounter sounded familiar. “This reminds me very much of the hit ’90s movie Indecent Proposal. I think by accepting the money from him… I think you owe him a little something,” he teased.

Joy Behar denied owing the man anything, but shared the lesson she learned. “First of all, what we can get from this entire conversation is that the old broad has still got it.” However, she said the “stud” must like older women because she was old enough to be his grandmother.

Joy Behar may have flirted with the young “stud” but ultimately ended it before it got out of hand. We can’t wait to hear another story from her travel adventures.
