Canada is big — and you need a network that has you covered wherever life takes you. Whether you’re in bustling downtown Toronto or the quiet community of Aulac, a strong wireless network is essential for how we work, live, and stay in touch.

If you’ve been searching for the best 5G mobile network in Canada, Bell stands out for being the fastest and most trusted network (according to Ookla and BrandSpark).

In fact, Bell’s wireless network provides coverage to over 99 per cent of the Canadian population, making it the largest wireless network in the country. Nearly 89 per cent of Canadians also have access to 5G and 5G+ services, and now Bell just launched 5G+ Advanced in some of Ontario’s fastest‑growing communities.

Powered by Bell’s latest spectrum deployment and new 5G standalone (SA) core, 5G+ Advanced delivers greater capacity, ultra‑low latency, and theoretical peak download speeds will reach up to 4.3 Gbps. These speeds enable customers to shop, stream, game, and video chat faster and more seamlessly than ever before.

Bell’s 5G+ Advanced network is fully operational throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and is continuing its expansion into the Niagara region. You can visit bell.ca/coverage to check coverage in your area.

This next-generation network is compatible with the latest devices from Apple, Samsung, and Google when updated with the latest software, including:

    • Apple: iPhone 17e, iPhone 17 series, iPhone 16 series
    • Samsung: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24 series; Flip and Fold 7, Flip and Fold 6
    • Google: Pixel 10 series, Pixel 9 series

Expanding Canada’s wireless network across communities

Across the country, Bell is building new towers and upgrading existing infrastructure to improve coverage, 5G network speed, and network reliability. Work is underway in urban and rural  communities, enabling faster downloads, smoother streaming, and improved connectivity.

In 2025 alone, Bell enhanced 110 sites across Canada, benefiting communities including:

Ontario: Ajax, Barrie, Belleville, Bowmanville, Brampton, Brantford, Brockville, Burlington, Cambridge, Carleton Place, Chatham, Deep River, Georgina, Guelph, Hamilton, Hanover, Kemptville, Kingston, Kitchener, Lincoln, Lindsay, London, Markham, Milton, Mississauga, Newcastle, Orillia, Oshawa, Pembroke, Peterborough, Pickering, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Smith Falls, St. Catherines, St. Thomas, Stratford, Uxbridge, Waterdown, Whitby, Woodstock.

    Quebec: Alma, Amos, Chicoutimi, Drummondville, Granby, Grantham, Lac D’argent, Lac-Mégantic, Le Plateau-Laval, Riviere-Ouelle, Saint-Boniface, Saint-Cesaire, Sainte-Cecile-de-Milton, Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Shawinigan, Sorel-Tracy, St-Francois-Xavier-de-Brampton, Trois-Rivières, Val-de-Sources, Victoriaville.

Atlantic Canada: Aulac, Charlottetown, Dartmouth, Halifax, Moncton, Oromocto, Summerside, Truro.

These investments have supported broader 5G coverage, faster mobile speeds, and increased reliability in communities nationwide.

Looking ahead for 2026, Bell plans to continue enhancing service in 220 communities, building on these investments to deliver even stronger connectivity nationwide.
