Jesse Watters Recently Discussed The President & The Conflict In Iran On The Five
Throughout his career, Jesse Watters has become known for his work on a number of Fox News programs over the years. This includes his own namesake series, Jesse Watters Primetime.
In addition, Watters is also known for serving as a co-host on The Five. Through this show, Watters and his co-hosts have gotten into a number of discussions concerning current events.
Recently, Watters and his co-hosts were discussing the possibility of President Donald Trump striking a deal with Iran to end the current conflict in the area. Speaking on The Five, he shared, “This is war, and it’s a very effective campaign so far.”
This got a response from co-host Jessica Tarlov, who snapped back, “It’s not like we haven’t seen this movie before.” The two then started to go back and forth.
Jessica Tarlov Had A Few Choice Words For Watters Concerning President Trump
Watters then asked if Tarlov was comparing the situation to Iraq. Before she could explain further, however, Watters repeated the question.
Tarlov then explained, “I’m not comparing this to Iraq, but we have intervened in the Middle East multiple times. People have legitimate questions.” Watters responded, “We are asking these questions.”
It was then that Tarlov criticized her co-host for his admiration of President Trump. She quipped, “No, you are not. You’re just saying Donald Trump, I love you. I love you, Donald. I love you.”
For his part, Watters could be heard talking over her. He was heard saying, “You’re asking the questions a child would ask in the back of a car as they pulled out…”
As noted by The U.S. Express, on social media, viewers responded to this recent conversation. People who admitted that they weren’t normally fans of Tarlov admitted that they thought she did well with the conversation. Some comments included:
- “Watters has become such a sycophant. He has no rhetoric, no actual facts about anything anymore. Like a child playing with bubbles in the bathtub. We need serious people because people are dying right now.”
- “Jessica calls it like it is. Always.”
- “Waters started laughing because he knows it’s true.”
- “What did Jessica do in a previous life to deserve this level of punishment?”
- “Tarlov is cooking this Trump sycophant! All he can do is get loud and gush about Trump. That’s not news.”
- “One of these days these two are going to end up in a slap fight.”
Jessica: People have legitimate questions.
Watters: And we’re asking those questions.
