Harris Faulkner Breaks Silence On Sudden Absence After Fan Concern
Harris Faulkner has been an on-screen personality on Fox News for a long time. She joined the network in 2005. She currently hosts the daily The Faulkner Focus. The anchor is also a co-host on Outnumbered. Her absence wasn’t addressed by the network.
One concerned fan asked the anchor on social media why she hasn’t been on the show. Harris Faulkner thanked them for noticing and explained she was absent for a family matter. The Fox News anchor shared a little more in an Instagram post.
“Parent college tour time— second child. God is good,” she captioned the post, which featured her standing in front of a March Madness banner. Harris Faulkner shares two daughters with her husband, Tony Berlin.
According to the U.S. Sun, the couple’s daughter Bella, 18, is in college at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Their youngest daughter, 15, must be the one looking at schools. However, Harris Faulkner didn’t reveal which college they were touring. She assured the concerned fan that she would be back on Fox News “very soon.”
Harris Faulkner previously expressed concern over racism on college campuses. “I really think it’s important for Jewish children on campuses to know that they have partners, that the hate on the campus is a microcosm compared with the love that’s out there,” she said. The Fox News host is a Christian, but her husband is Jewish.
Fox News Host Announces Pregnancy
Harris Faulkner returns to Fox News soon, but another anchor will be leaving in a few months, at least temporarily. Fox & Friends First host Carley Shimkus announced live on the air last week that she was pregnant. “I’m having another baby,” she told viewers.
She shared that she’s nearly six months pregnant with her second baby. She’s expecting another boy in July. “I pray that they’re going to be the best of friends throughout their whole entire life,” the Fox News host said about her hope for her 3-year-old son and his baby brother.
She didn’t reveal what the network will do during her maternity leave. However, she thanked Fox News for being so supportive of her family. ABC’s talk show The View dealt with Alyssa Farah Griffin’s maternity leave by bringing in several guest co-hosts. Alyssa Farah Griffin is expected to return soon.
