Denise Richards’ Ex Ordered To Pay Big Bucks In Fraud Case
Denise Richards famously married actor Charlie Sheen in 2002. She was only married to the Spin City star for four years before they split. She thought she’d found love again with Aaron Phypers. But now they’re in the middle of a messy divorce and domestic violence allegations.
The former Bold & The Beautiful actress filed for divorce in 2025 after nearly seven years of marriage. She filed for a restraining order against her ex a few months after filing for divorce. She was granted a permanent restraining order after providing evidence of abuse.
Her ex took her back to court in February, seeking spousal support. The judge ordered Denise Richards to pay $25,000 to go towards her Aaron Phypers’ divorce lawyers. Additionally, he was awarded $5,000 per month in temporary spousal support.
But now her ex is the one who has to pay out big money. A judge ruled that he owed $160K in a fraud case. TMZ reported that the judge ruled in the plaintiff’s favor after Aaron Phypers failed to respond to the lawsuit.
A widower who lost his wife to cancer sued Aaron Phypers in 2024 for fraud and breach of contract. The widower claimed that Aaron Phypers’ wellness center gave his cancer-stricken wife stem cell treatments that didn’t work. Before her death, his wife asked the wellness center to refund the $63K spent on treatment.
Her request was ignored. Her husband filed the lawsuit after her death. So, instead of paying $63K, Aaron Phypers was ordered to pay more than double that.
