Fans have gotten to see more of the Robertson family as Duck Dynasty: The Revival returned for its second season. Recently, viewers saw John Luke Robertson get into some trouble with the police. However, the story is more complicated than it appears.
Duck Dynasty‘s John Luke Is Willie & Korie Robertson’s Oldest Son
Viewers were first introduced to the Robertson family and their Duck Commander hunting business, founded by late patriarch Phil Robertson, through the A&E series, Duck Dynasty. Recently, fans were given a follow-up series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which explored the further lives of Willie and Korie Robertson and their family in Louisiana.
John Luke, born in 1995, is the oldest son of Willie and Korie. Fans have come to know him through the family’s shows both as a teenager and as an adult, where he has especially become known for his sense of humor.
During a recent episode of the revival series, John Luke appeared sentimental about a bull elk he got with his dad as a kid. It was currently inside his sister Rebecca’s home with spouse, John Reed, which originally belonged to Willie and Korie.
John Luke also expressed sadness over other animals along the office walls. He attempted to speak with his brother-in-law, John Reed, about the matter. However, the elk was loved by the children, which made it hard to part with.
Police Later Surprised John Luke At His Office
When this went south, John Luke conspired with two of his other brothers-in-law for help, Christian Huff and Jacob Mayo. They planned to go to the residence when Rebecca and John Reed were out on date night, with Jacob knowing the house’s entry code. Once inside, they planned to replace the item with another hanging animal.
However, Rebecca and John Reed noticed the change when they returned. Soon, police arrived outside of John Luke’s office building. He was soon handcuffed and put inside a vehicle. Jacob and Christian could also be seen in the car.

However, John Luke soon learned that he wasn’t the only one with a trick up his sleeve. John Reed appeared and told him, “Gotcha!” As noted by TV Insider, the whole thing was a prank, and John Luke wasn’t really arrested. His brother-in-law just decided to teach him a Scared Straight! style lesson. As he explained, John Reed quickly realized what happened thanks to security cameras on the property. He also noted that John Luke and his conspirators also left a bag at the scene.
Currently, Duck Dynasty: The Revival is in its second season. Fans can catch new episodes on Saturdays at 10/9c on A&E.
