Sandra Lee has suffered a stroke while filming a new season. She recently let fans know what happened. This was a scary time for her.
“It was just a shock. As a physician I couldn’t deny that I had slurred speech, that I was having weakness on one side, but I was like, ‘Well, this is a dream, right?’ What essentially happened, is I had a part of my brain that died.”
She admitted that her speech was still messed up. However, she did not have as many repercussions as she could have. She is thankful to still be okay and healthy. However, it was terrifying for her to have to go through. This is something she will never forget.
