Kyle Richards got emotional when thinking about the possibility of ending her marriage to Mauricio Umansky on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“There are times in life that you’re wondering when should I pull the plug on this marriage,” Kyle, 57, said during the Bravo show’s season 15 finale on Thursday, April 16, “I feel like, you’ll know when that time comes. I think there’ll be a moment where you say, ‘Ah ha, OK, this is that moment.’”
She continued, “I know that that’s going to happen for me, probably soon. So, when that moment comes, I will know and I will act on it.”
Kyle and Mauricio, 55, separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
“I can remember I would hear about other couples that would split up after being married so many years and their kids getting married and having babies,” Kyle said in her confessional as she prepared for her and Mauricio’s eldest daughter, Alexia’s wedding. (The former couple are also parents to Sophia and Portia. Kyle shares daughter Farrah with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.)
She continued, “I would think, ‘That’s so stupid, why would they do that?’ And then, I’m like, how did we get here? To have all these big life moments happening now. Having Alexia go off and get married and Portia go to college, it feels strange to be on my own.”
Kyle noted that her feelings about the separation from Mauricio change daily.
“Some days I feel OK and strong, and I’m proud of myself for being as strong as I am,” she added. “And other days, I feel scared. Other days I’m worried.”
At the end of the episode, RHOBH offered an update on where Kyle and Mauricio’s relationship stands now.
“Neither are ready to pull the trigger on divorce,” text on the screen read. A trailer for the RHOBH season 15 reunion, which will start with part 1 on Thursday, April 23, showed Andy Cohen asking Kyle about filing.
“Kyle, if you do file for divorce, will you be asking for half of The Agency,” Andy asked, referring to Mauricio’s real estate business.

“Well, it’s mine,” Kyle seemingly replied. Her sister Kathy Hilton said, “Does he realize that?”
Prior to the RHOBH season 15 premiere, Kyle discussed the question surrounding her and Mauricio’s possible divorce with Us Weekly exclusively.
She teased during the December 2025 interview that there was an “impromptu conversation” about the subject, adding, “I guess you’re gonna have to wait and see what happens with that.”
