Samsung revealed a brand new, AI-powered TV at its 2026 European Tech Seminar.
Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, the seminar gave both media and industry professionals a firsthand look at Samsung’s latest product. For 15 years, the tech seminar has brought leading experts together to experience Samsung’s cutting-edge products in a “real-world setting.” This year, the focus of the event was on how the screen itself is being changed by AI, making it more adaptive for day-to-day use.
Samsung’s Vision AI Companion (VAC) platform took centre stage at the seminar. VAC is Samsung’s integrated AI platform designed to make the TV context-aware and intuitive about which media is being played and how best to display it.
The companion improves the movie, sports and gaming experience. AI Upscaling Pro can sharpen low-resolution content to make small details in the corners pop with clarity. AI Soccer Mode Pro adapts picture and sound to match the action on screen, immersing viewers in the action. AI Sound Controller Pro can analyze dialogue, background music and sound effects, letting users raise and lower the elements they do and don’t want to hear. VAC is integrated across Samsung’s 2026 lineup.
The display constantly refines the colour and contrast to offer the best picture quality in each moment. The 75-inch TV on display at the seminar showed the complete coverage the AI can achieve on Ultra High Definition TVs (UHDTV).
Samsung also showcased its gaming and audio prowess, showcasing its Odyssey G6 OLED gaming monitor (G60FS) for US$679.99 (about C$931.10) with a 500Hz refresh rate, as well as the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) for US$1,249.99 (about C$1,711.60) sporting 6K resolution.
In terms of audio, Samsung is coming with Music Studio 7 for US$749 (about C$1,025.60) and Music Studio 5 for US$349 (about C$477.88), with immersive sound that becomes part of the space. Music Studio 7 features enhanced Q-Symphony, allowing it to better synchronize and create immersive audio with multiple devices. Music Studio 5 offers AI Dynamic Bass Control for deeper low frequencies without worrying about distortion.
“By bringing innovation to picture quality, sound and connectivity, we are redefining what users can expect from AI-powered screens,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics.
With AI being implemented in Samsung’s new lineup, from high-end to more accessible models, Samsung is pushing the capabilities of what a TV can do to their limits.
