Kelly Ripa recalled a time in Las Vegas when another woman asked her for a tampon. She didn’t have one but was flattered that the woman approached her. Men are generally confused by women going to the bathroom in groups or pairs when out together.
She was a bit surprised when her husband said men’s bathrooms aren’t friendly places. In fact, men try their best to avoid eye contact or any interaction in the bathroom. Kelly Ripa asked her husband to take her inside the men’s room in a hypothetical situation. They pretended to be at urinals.

LIVE producer Michael Gelman chimed in that sometimes men run into people they know in the bathroom. Mark Consuelos joked that he pretends not to know them. According to him, the only acceptable conversation in the men’s room is a casual “Hey,” and nothing more.
