Controversial Beginnings On The Bachelor
Jason Mesnick was a single dad looking for love after divorce when he joined Deanna Pappas’ season of The Bachelorette. He was heartbroken when she turned down his proposal, choosing Jesse Csincsak instead. That relationship was short-lived and she’s fallen on hard times in recent years.
Despite the rejection, Jason Mesnick became the next Bachelor, determined to find the love of his life to raise his son with. He thought he found it with Melissa Rycroft but realized at the last second that he chose the wrong woman. He dumped Melissa and pursued runner-up, Molly Malaney.
Despite the controversial start to their romance, Molly and Jason married in 2010. They’re still together and live in Seattle, Washington, with their family.
Jason & Molly Mesnick Welcome New Baby
Molly and Jason Mesnick have never tried to hide that they found love on reality TV. Molly Mesnick is still a fan of the franchise and often shares her thoughts. The couple’s wedding was televised and they’re stronger than ever, sixteen years later. In addition to Jason’s son from a previous relationship, the couple had one child of their own, a daughter named Riley.
But she took to Instagram to introduce an adorable new family member. She shared a “family update” of each member of the family walking by the camera trained at their feet. Someone in blue sneakers walks by, followed by someone in green sneakers. A pair of flip flops and a pair of sandals follow. Those feet belong to Jason, Molly, Ty, and Riley.
Then another pair of feet enters the frame. Or should we say four paws? The cutest little white puppy walks halfway across the floor before making a beeline for the camera. The Mesnicks welcomed a furry new family member and fans couldn’t be happier for them.

The wholesome post did confuse quite a few people, who thought the post was a pregnancy announcement. Molly Mesnick previously shared that their daughter, Riley, has a very serious fear of dogs.
