Attempting to clear the infield, Mhatre mistimed his shot, sending the ball towards the left of mid-off. Klaasen reacted instantly, sprinting to his left before launching himself into the air. Stretching out his left hand, he managed to get his fingers under the ball while airborne. As he descended, he showed remarkable presence of mind to control the ball with his other hand and complete the catch safely.
