Fans of Marshals recently just saw a surprising kiss following an emotional revelation on the show. Since then, actor Logan Marshall-Green has talked about the moment. In particular, he also spoke about what fans could expect as the season draws to a close.
Logan Marshall-Green Plays Pete ‘Cal’ Calvin On Marshals
As an actor, Marshall-Green has appeared on a number of television shows, including 24, The O.C., and Dark Blue. He is also known for films like Devil, Prometheus, The Invitation, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Recently, fans have seen the actor take on the role of Pete “Cal” Calvin on the Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals. A former Navy SEAL, Cal serves as Kayce Dutton’s team leader after he joins a specialized group of Marshals protecting Montana.
In the April 12 episode of the show, some fans were in for a romantic surprise when Cal and Belle, played by Arielle Kebbel, shared a kiss. This followed an emotional moment, when Cal confessed to having seen her husband, Jared, kiss another woman, with her admitting this is nothing new.
After a few drinks, with emotions running high, the two gave in to a kiss. Belle pulled back, saying it was a bad idea, but it might not be easy to take this moment back, especially as the two work together on the same U.S. Marshals team.
Recently, Marshall-Green discussed the moment while appearing at CBS Fest 2026 on April 15. Speaking with People, the actor shared, “I thought the scene played really well in the script. It felt earned in a way, and it’s gonna continue to be something we earn throughout the season.”
Marshall-Green Also Hinted At What Fans Can Expect During Marshal’s First Season Finale
While discussing his co-star, Marshall-Green shared, “I love working with Arielle.” He also noted that their characters, Belle and Cal, “become very intimate — but not just physically, in other ways too” this season, likely hinting at what’s to come in the aftermath of the kiss.
The season is expected to air its finale on May 24, 2026. In the meantime, Marshall-Green has already teased that things are going to get tense. He shared, “We end this season on a cliffhanger. And I’m looking forward to picking up those stakes again very, very quickly, when we get back to shooting season 2 in just a few weeks.”
Meanwhile, the show was renewed for a second season just a few days after its premiere. At the time, as the outlet noted, Marshals’ debut broke records as the most-streamed CBS episode on Paramount+ eve, gaining more than 20 million views.
