Farmer Wants a Wife is just about to debut a new season on Fox, with three bachelor farmers. During this season, viewers will get to meet Brett Maverick of Tennessee. Interestingly, he actually has a connection to one country music star, who even has a background with reality television. This also comes out as Brett himself has opened up about himself before the season premiere.
Farmer Wants A Wife‘s Brett Maverick Already Has A Colorful Background, From Cattle Ranching To Protein Bars
Farmer Wants a Wife is an American remake of the British series of the same name, which follows a bachelor farmer during a search for love.
After a season originally debuted on The CW in 2008, the series was eventually revived on Fox in 2023. A fourth season is set to premiere on April 21, with three lovelorn farmers: Braden Pridemore, Sean Cavanaugh, and Brett Maverick.
Brett is a farmer from Savannah, Tennessee, with a history of working on cattle ranches in West Texas. However, Brett is also full of different surprises. He also built a protein bar company, AlphaTenn Energy.
Brett Even Shared A Photo From CMA Fest On Social Media
In addition, Brett actually has a connection to a country music star, RaeLynn. Reality show fans may remember that RaeLynn, also known as Racheal Lynn Woodward, was a contestant on the second season of The Voice. She is known for singles including “God Made Girls,” “For a Boy,” “Small Town Prayer,” and “Raisin’ Me a Country Girl.”
The two are friends, with Brett having met the singer through her husband, Josh Davis. On social media, Brett has even shared photos of him attending University of Tennessee football games and even CMA Fest with the couple. In one such post, he teased, “A weekend was had.”
Viewers will get to meet Brett on Farmer Wants a Wife. Prior to the show’s debut, he also spoke with Swooon, sharing that he can actually be a bit shy. “When I first meet people, I’m pretty reserved, and that’s because I like to listen. I really like to kind of see how people are. You can tell a lot when you’re listening.”
When talking about green flags and red flags in a potential partner, Brett expressed that what was important was “how they hold themselves [and] how they treat others.” Meanwhile, series host Kimberly Williams-Paisley described Brett as “lovely, gentle, polite. When comparing him to the other farmers, she admitted that he might be “a little more stoic.”
