The “Opalite” singer is reportedly wary of security concerns, especially as details of her plans keep making their way to the public.
Recently, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tried to evade attention as they visited her favorite restaurant, with details about their activities in the establishment emerging.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding is the most anticipated nuptial of the year, but guests cannot say for sure where it’ll take place.
Although rumors were rife that the event would happen in New York on July 3, sources close to the couple claim that they left details about the location blank, even on the invitation to guests.
“There’s a date — but no venue,” an insider told Rob Shuter’s #ShutterScoop. “And that’s completely intentional.”
“The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet,” the source added. “Not even the guests.”
The Couple Is Reportedly Worried About Security
Swift remains one of the most popular pop stars in the world with a loyal fanbase that’ll do anything for her, while Kelce has a neat following with his successful football career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
They’ve been together since 2023 before getting engaged in August last year. Their decision to keep the location of their wedding a secret is understood to be because of security reasons and the fact that they want to be in control of the proceedings.
“They want total control — and total privacy,” an insider said. “Details won’t be shared until the very last minute.”
“Security,” the source said of their reason for keeping mute on the location. “And avoiding leaks.”
“If the location got out early, it would turn into a circus,” one source noted.

Swift doesn’t like that her wedding plans have somehow made their way to the public and is reportedly considering scrapping them all to start again.
She’s worried the leaks will cause her wedding to spiral into a full-blown circus, with sources telling OK! Magazine that she’s struggling with wedding nerves ahead of the alleged July 3 date.
The “Karma” singer is happy that she’ll finally be walking down the aisle with the love of her life, but planning such a massive event, especially when she’s under scrutiny, has left her “feeling increasingly on edge.”
“She is known for being incredibly detail-oriented and fiercely protective of her private life, so seeing carefully laid plans and personal decisions exposed before she is ready has been deeply unsettling for her,” the insider said.
“It has knocked her confidence in how everything is unfolding and prompted serious conversations about whether she should rethink the entire setup, change key elements, or even pivot to a completely different approach in order to regain control and prevent the day from becoming the kind of media frenzy she has always tried to avoid,” they added.

Ahead of the new NFL season, reports suggest they’ve been left with little time to make their wedding happen as Kelce will have to resume work with his teammates, which has seemingly intensified the pressure.
One source said, “They are now operating within an extremely tight timeframe, and there is a clear sense that everything is being dictated by the clock. If they are set on marrying before the demands of training camp take over, then key decisions cannot be delayed any longer – they have to be made quickly and with certainty.”
“That kind of pressure inevitably creates a more intense atmosphere, and it is adding to the overall strain of what is already a highly complex and emotionally charged planning process,” they added.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Tried To Evade Attention At An NYC Restaurant
According to Page Six, the couple tried to avoid attention as they recently visited celeb hotspot Casa Cipriani last Friday, hiding behind three large black umbrellas.
What they did there remains unknown, but reports suggest they left a generous tip for staff at the establishment.
Jazz musician Richie Nuzz, who performed a set for Swift, Kelce, and her friends, recounted his experience to the news outlet, revealing that she tipped them well.
“At the end of the night, I saw her walking towards the stage, and then that’s when I realized, you know, she was giving us a tip,” Nuzz recalled.
“And then she kind of like, did this bow thing, like with her hands, like praise you kind of thing. And, like, blew me a kiss,” he continued. “She was so sweet about it, and it made us feel really good.”
Weighing in on the singer’s mood, Nuzz said she was dancing and grooving all through, and was seated close to her fiancé.
“It was definitely one of our best shows, knowing that she was there, but also the whole entire room was packed,” he added.
