The Chicago PD series is typically the lowest-rated series of NBC’s “Chicago One” line-up. Still, it seems to be in no danger of being cancelled right now and will very likely be renewed for a 14th season. However, some day, the peacock network executives could decide to replace the lower-rated series with another drama set in the Windy City. Will Chicago PD be the first of the franchise to go? A police procedural drama series, the Chicago PD TV show stars Jason Beghe, Marina Squerciati, Patrick John Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Benjamin Levy Aguilar, Amy Morton, and Arienne Mandi. This TV show follows the personal and professional lives of the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit. They combat the city’s most heinous offenses including organized crime, drug trafficking, and high-profile murders. Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Beghe) is at the center of the department’s war on crime and he’ll do anything to bring criminals to justice. The series also features crossovers with Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.

For comparisons: Season 12 of Chicago PD on NBC averaged a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.63 million viewers.

While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel.
