Tomorrow X Together snagged the third spot on this week’s Billboard 200 with their latest album drop. The K-pop quintet’s ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns’ is projected to move 70,000 units in its first week, according to industry tracker HITSDD.

The news hit social media when PopBase shared the chart projections. The tweet racked up nearly 6,000 likes and over 1,000 retweets, showing just how much fans were hyped about the group’s latest Billboard success.

This third-place debut hits different for TXT. The group has been steadily building their presence in the US market since their 2019 debut, and this chart position shows they’re not slowing down. The album title itself feels pretty fitting – after seven years of grinding in the industry, they’re still finding those moments of stillness between all the chaos of stardom.

The numbers don’t lie either. Moving 70,000 units in a week is no small feat, especially in today’s streaming-heavy music landscape. It shows TXT has built a solid fanbase that’s actually buying their music, not just streaming it casually.

For context, the Billboard 200 tracks the most popular albums across all genres in the US. Landing in the top three means TXT is competing with some serious heavyweights – pop stars, hip-hop artists, country musicians, the whole spectrum. The fact that a K-pop group can consistently crack these upper chart positions speaks to how the genre has evolved in American music culture.

TXT, which stands for Tomorrow X Together, has always brought something fresh to the table. The group consists of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai, and they’ve been crafting this unique sound that blends classic K-pop energy with more experimental touches. This latest album seems to continue that trend.

The title ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns’ suggests something more contemplative than their usual high-energy releases. It’s giving mature vibes, like the group is taking a breath and reflecting on their journey so far. That kind of artistic growth tends to resonate with both longtime fans and new listeners.

What’s really cool is how TXT keeps proving that K-pop isn’t just a trend in the US – it’s a legitimate force in the music industry. Groups like BTS paved the way, but acts like TXT are showing that success isn’t just a one-off thing. They’re building sustainable careers that translate across different markets.

The HITSDD projection system has become pretty reliable for predicting chart debuts, so this third-place spot is looking pretty solid. It puts TXT in good company with whatever other major releases are dropping this week.

Fans have been waiting for this album for a while, and the chart performance shows their patience paid off. There’s something satisfying about seeing a group you’ve supported actually deliver both artistically and commercially.

This Billboard success also sets up TXT nicely for whatever comes next. Whether that’s touring, more music, or other projects, having a top-three album gives them serious momentum. The music industry loves a winner, and TXT just proved they’re exactly that.

The streaming era has made chart success more complicated, but TXT managed to crack the code. They’ve got the fanbase loyalty, the musical quality, and now the chart receipts to back it all up. That’s a pretty solid combination for any artist trying to make it in today’s music world.
