Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave RCB the perfect start by dismissing Delhi Capitals debutant Sahil Parakh for a duck on just the second ball of the innings. It was a delivery straight out of the fast-bowling textbook — full, fast, late-swinging, and absolutely unplayable.
Charging in with confidence, Bhuvneshwar delivered a deadly inswinging yorker aimed right at middle stump. Parakh, making his IPL debut under pressure, had no answer. Josh Hazlewood and company continue the destruction
If Bhuvneshwar provided the spark, Josh Hazlewood made sure the fire kept burning. The Australian speedster maintained relentless pressure with his disciplined line and hard lengths, forcing Delhi’s top order into mistakes.
The Capitals never recovered from the early collapse. Their star batters failed to settle, and every attempt to rebuild was shut down by RCB’s aggressive field placements and sharp bowling plans. Single-digit dismissals became the theme of the innings as the Bengaluru bowlers kept attacking the stumps and forcing errors.
