According to Sky News, Prince Harry and his wife, Markle, are in a reported showdown over their son’s upcoming birthday. Prince Archie, born May 6, 2019, will celebrate his seventh birthday in the coming days.
To celebrate the special occasion, a source said Markle is wanting to stick to tradition and release a formal photo of him. Prince Harry, meanwhile, is said to be completely against the suggestion, hoping to shield his children from the spotlight for as long as possible.
“This isn’t the first time this conflict has come up – and there are times it’s been Meghan holding Harry back from showing off pictures of their kids,” the source said. “But Meghan thinks it’s the perfect time to release a formal set of pictures of Archie for his birthday – especially now her Archie candle’s been released.”

The couple’s reported disagreement comes days after Prince Archie’s cousin, Prince Louis, turned eight last week.
His parents, Prince William and Princess Catherine, shared a snap of the brown-haired royal smiling in front of a body of water.
“Happy birthday, Louis! 8 today,” the photo read.
According to the insider, Prince Harry has more on his mind than Prince Archie’s birthday celebrations. The 41-year-old is said to be worried “about Archie and Lilibet losing their titles” after Markle launched a signature candle line inspired by her offspring.
The source said “pushing the lines between being royalty and [monetizing] it” could cause issues with the monarchy.

The latest report comes shortly after Prince Harry clapped back at a reporter who asked the British Army veteran whether he found it bothersome some people saw him as “not a working royal.”
“No. I will always be part of the royal family,” the Duke of Sussex said firmly, according to The Blast. “I am here working doing the things that I was born to do.”
Prince Harry, who, alongside his wife, took a step back from their royal duties in 2020, went on to say that being born into the Royal Family means he’d always find a way to serve others.

Amid this, Prince Harry garnered a bit of criticism after making an unexpected appeared at the Kyiv Security forum, according to PEOPLE, where he appeared to call for President Donald J. Trump to interact in Russia’s ongoing attacks against Ukraine.
“The United States has a singular role in this story,” the prince said. “Not only because of its power, but because when Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons, America was part of the assurance that Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders would be respected.”
Prince Harry said that the attacks were a chance for “American leadership” to act. “A moment for America to show that it can honor its international treaty obligations, not out of charity, but out of its own enduring role in global security and strategic stability,” he said.
Trump, meanwhile, appeared unfazed by the Duke’s comments, dismissing them completely while speaking with the media. According to Trump, Prince Harry doesn’t speak for the UK. “That’s for sure,” he said.
The POTUS went on to say that in this current moment, he likely has more authority than the royal does himself. “I think I’m speaking for the U.K. more than Prince Harry. But I appreciate his advice,” he said.

The trip garnered huge crowds, as their security, lifeguards, and regular fans followed the pair as they strolled along the shoreline.
The moment generated a lot of chatter, however, when the pair’s entourage walked directly over a woman who seemed unbothered by the noise and attention.
Although Prince Harry laughed, seeming to make light of the situation, some users voiced their displeasure with how things went down.
