She starred in Disney Channel’s Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century before taking on the role of legacy character Belle Black on Days of Our Lives. She later joined General Hospital as Maxie Jones, a role she’s played on and off since 2005.
It was on the ABC soap where she met her ex-husband, Brandon Barash. They married in 2013 and welcomed their daughter, Harper Rose, a few months later. They split in 2016 but have had an amicable co-parenting relationship until recently.
Kirsten Storms’ ex-husband filed for an emergency restraining order against her in December 2025. The order was approved by a judge earlier this week. Brandon Barash made some shocking allegations against his former wife. He claimed that she was having a mental health crisis and he was worried about her ability to care for their 12-year-old daughter.

Kirsten Storms posted several concerning videos on Instagram in the last few months. The videos resurfaced amid news of the restraining order. In videos from February, she claimed that someone was breaking into her home and that her phone had been “hacked.”

The actress shared a new update on the situation on April 9. She again claimed that her devices were being “hacked” and “strange things” happened when she tried to get online, such as emails being mysteriously deleted.
Kirsten Storms reported the situation to the police, but asked her fans if they knew anyone who could help her figure out what was going on. Her fans have rallied around her after TMZ revealed the restraining order and videos.
