Unexpected fans have been left utterly confused this week, and for good reason. First off, it was supposed to be the Season 7 finale, but then a preview for next week’s update was shown. Then, viewers started to ask questions about a Plan B storyline between Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson. Yet, that never aired for most people, so what is going on? Keep reading for more details.
Is TLC Editing In Favor Of Bella & Hunter?
The Monday, April 27th episode of Unexpected was supposed to serve as the Season 7 finale, per TLC. Yet, it ended up being a regular episode, and next week will be an update as they are not having a tell-all. Fans will see Hunter Johnson’s drama unfold with his father as he now has full custody but at the time of filming, it was split. Bella Vaughn and her mother, Falen, who is a big part of the custody drama, share how hard it is to have Hunter gone. At the same time, viewers just watched as Hunter celebrated finishing the eighth grade.
This was something they initially believed may not happen. However, there was supposedly a lot more to Bella and Hunter’s story that viewers did not see. Well, some did, but others did not. Allegedly, Bella had been talking to Hunter about having another baby. Yet, there was also discussion about how she had to take Plan B every month. Fans started talking about whether this actually came up on the show, or if they had hallucinated it all. As it turns out, some saw it on streaming services, while this segment was edited out on others.
Unexpected viewers are well aware that Bella Vaughn did not want to get on any birth control. She hated what it did to the body, yet had a scare a few weeks postpartum. Therefore, she relied on emergency birth control. Unfortunately, TLC seemingly did some creative editing so this Plan B conversation appeared to never happen.
Why Is This Being Done?
Elle Bee had to ask this crucial question of TLC as to why they edited Unexpected this way:
- What would be the point of editing those particular clips?? Is TLC working to help Falen & Stacie in their custody battles against Casey Johnson???
Some viewers already got to see Arkansas-based Bella discussing taking emergency contraception with her mother. So, why would they change it at the last minute? Immediately, fans chimed in with their thoughts on this:
- Footage was probably removed and being held in court now. TLC is most likely been pulled into these filings at this point.
- could be tlc was getting too much backlash over their story so edit happened
Others were just confused as to why Falen was allowing her daughter to take contraception like this on a monthly basis. They felt she was causing her more harm than good.
