Ottawa’s EY Centre is being rebranded as the Cohere Centre, following a naming agreement with Cohere, the Toronto-based, security-first AI company.
The EY Centre was and will continue to be Ottawa’s largest convention and event centre, which hosts major government, corporate and public events. The centre’s over 200,000 square-foot floor space offers flexibility in hosting events, conventions, meetings and seminars, making it a centrepiece for events in Canada’s capital.
“This partnership is a testament to Ottawa’s emergence as a hub for innovation and world-class events,” said Neill Bales, general manager of the Cohere Centre.
Founded in 2019, Cohere is an AI leader which builds foundation and end-to-end products to solve business problems. It partners with organizations to deliver seamless integration, customization and solutions. Its priorities are security, privacy and flexibility for users and companies.

With its headquarters in Toronto, Cohere’s partnership with the EY Centre in Ottawa positions the company in another prominent location in Canada.
