Wheel of Fortune has often given fans a lot of Easter eggs and fun moments over the years, even outside of the show. Recently, the series offered a surprising moment with Ryan Seacrest and some of his co-stars. Since then, fans have been sharing their reactions on social media.
Ryan Seacrest Joined Wheel Of Fortune Back In September 2024
Seacrest has worn many hats throughout his career. He first became known to many as a presenter on American Idol. In recent years, he’s also branched out into the role of game show host, taking over for Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune. Thanks to this, fans have seen him become part of a number of memetic moments on the show.
Over the years, Wheel of Fortune has also given fans a few extra shares on its official Instagram page, including a few behind-the-scenes antics involving the crew. One recent video shared on the platform showed Ryan Seacrest having a little fun with his co-workers, Vanna White and Maggie Sajak.
During the video, the three made up dances on the spot in imitation of various ringtones, or as they announced it, “If alarms could dance, this is how they would dance.” As the post teased in the caption, however, “You’ll never guess what Ryan does for the third one…”
The sequence started out with “By the Bayside.” White and Seacrest moved their arms up and down, with Seacrest bending in half to move in a circle. The second was “Piano Riff,” which sounded like “Bad to the Bone.” At this, Seacrest put his hands in the air and started twisting around.
The third dance, “Blues,” had Seacrest hop around the stage while White imitated playing a piano, and Sajak did a ballerina twirl. The following dance, “Circuit,” saw Seacrest progressively dance closer to the camera as White and Sajak in the background.
Even American Idol‘s Instagram Account Shared A Reaction To The Moment
Things ended with “Slow Rise,” which saw Seacrest pretend to fall asleep while standing up. Meanwhile, White swayed her arms while Sajak did a little ballet dance.
Since the post, a lot of figures have been sharing various reactions to the sequence. American Idol‘s own Instagram account even shared, “Love the enthusiasm,” complete with a crying face emoji.
Taking to the comments, fans were somewhat caught off guard by Seacrest’s dances in particular. Of course, some fans made sure to send Seacrest some love. A few fans also liked how each of the three brought their own different styles to the stage. Some comments included:
- “Omggg the girl on the left in white understands.”
- “What are you telling me”
- “Put them boogie shoes on!”
- “THIS IS….what creativity looks like :). And heck – if I had those as alarms – I’d be shooting out of bed. Vanna and Maggie – you need to teach Ryan some moves.”
- “Ryan you will always be a cutie pie”
- “WOW…. I know you all have a lot to do… what EVER MADE YOU DO This? Just asking?”
- “Nice job my love Ryan Seacrest.”
