Valerie Has Struggled With Her Weight For Years
For years, Valerie Bertinelli has struggled with her weight and with accepting who she is. She is a well-known and respected actress, having portrayed Barbara Cooper on One Day at a Time. Valerie then touched a whole new generation of fans on Hot in Cleveland and is now on The Drew Barrymore Show. Along the way, the 66-year-old has admitted that her weight has been a problem. She was a spokesperson for Jenny Craig and wrote books about what she had been going through. After all of these years and a bunch of ups and downs, Valerie is stunning on the red carpet.
On Thursday, April 30th, Valerie walked the red carpet for her Lifetime movie, Love Again. She donned a light brown silk pantsuit with necklaces accentuating her chest. To complement the look, Valerie threw on a black jacket and black round glasses. She was clearly much slimmer and had legs for days. The mother of one recently posed nude for her book cover, appropriately titled Getting Naked. She noted that she will never do it again, but now that it’s over, she feels good about making that decision:
“I’m one of those people that if I’m really afraid of something, I’m like, ‘Why? What are you so afraid of? What is it gonna hurt you? Just do it. Who the f— cares?’ So I finally just did it. I did it, I’m not gonna do it again [laughs]. But it was interesting to walk through that fear and get to the other side of it.”
Although Valerie Bertinelli admits that she is not in the best shape of her life, she feels better now, which is great to hear.

Let It Go
After years of Valerie Bertinelli discussing her weight issues, fans are exhausted. They do love her very much, but they wish she would talk about something else:
