Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise expanded to a new city this year. The ladies of RHORI certainly know how to bring the drama. One of their husbands reportedly made his mistress sign an NDA. However, the reason for the NDA has been portrayed incorrectly on the show, according to the wife. And she’s ready to set the record straight. Keep reading for all the details.
New Housewives Show A Hit With Viewers
The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered on Bravo in 2006. Twenty years later, the franchise has spread out to various cities all over the country. While the OG shows, including RHOC, RHONY and RHONJ, are still popular with viewers, a new city is getting a lot of attention.
Bravo debuted The Real Housewives of Rhode Island earlier this year. The cast includes Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi. Most of the cast members are new to reality television. However, Ashley Iaconetti was on several seasons of ABC’s Bachelor Nation franchise. Now married with kids, she’s ready for viewers to see the next chapter in her life.
However, another star is getting a lot of camera time after her husband stepped out on her.
RHORI Star Breaks Silence On Husband’s Mistress Signing NDA
Rulla Pontarelli’s husband’s affair has been a huge storyline on RHORI. Brian Rulla Pontarelli cheated on his wife before joining the Bravo show, but as viewers know, nothing stays in the past on the Real Housewives.

Rulla Pontarelli insists that the affair is over and they have moved on. However, her co-star Jo-Ellen Tiberi says otherwise. The topic has been hotly debated on the show. It came out that the mistress had to sign an NDA, which Brian Pontarelli later sued her for breaking.
However, in an interview with Parade magazine, Rulla Pontarelli claimed that the NDA wasn’t about sleeping with her husband, but something else. The RHORI star couldn’t say much, but did reveal some details.

“The one thing that I can say is the NDA is a result of something else that was going on because she had been a minority owner. He had made her another minority owner in the business. So it had to do with business matters, and a prior issue, not a don’t talk because of the show situation. So that’s sort of been taken out of context,” she told the outlet.
Where She Stands With Co-Star
Rulla Pontarelli said that she has moved past her husband’s affair but finds it difficult to watch it brought up constantly on the show. Her co-star, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, brings it up a lot, straining their relationship. What’s the latest on their friendship?
“Jo-Ellen and I are cordial. Throughout everything that we may have seen and not yet seen, I chose to try to be amicable and take the high road despite everything that was being thrown my way that maybe was not so nice,” Rulla Pontarelli said.
But will their truce last? The season is still airing, with a lot of drama still to come. Watch RHORI Sundays at 9 P.M. Eastern on Bravo.
