Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and her husband of nearly 30 years, Mauricio Umansky, split in 2023. However, they are still very much married, and it does not look like they are splitting legally anytime soon. Now, the mother of four is breaking her silence about what could save her marriage to Mauricio. Keep reading for more details on what she had to say.
Kyle Richards Could Stay Married
After nearly thirty years together, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced that they were splitting up. Rumors had long plagued the couple regarding infidelity on his part. Yet, they vehemently denied any wrongdoing, and then it seemed that Kyle was having an affair with Morgan Wade. Was she a lesbian now or just exploring? No one knew, but her marriage was in jeopardy, and they were now living separate lives. Kyle recently explained that they never legally separated, and it always seemed that maybe there was a chance that they would reconcile.
The RHOBH OG believes that if she and Mauricio had moved from California to Aspen and lived simpler lives, they would still be together. When she was discussing how she and Mauricio could find a path to happiness at the Season 15 reunion, she noted that things are harder in LA. However, she did go on to add this:
“We would move to Vail, and [Mauricio] could be a ski instructor, and I could be home with the kids. I do believe that if that had happened, we’d still be together.”
The former couple does have a home in Aspen, which has been featured on the hit Bravo series. Kyle Richards also pointed out that having such a strong social media presence did not help them. She felt that they were always being watched and essentially, nothing was sacred.
Nothing Could Save Them
After RHOBH saw what Kyle Richards had to say about life away from California, they were in disbelief. They felt that, even in Colorado, Mauricio Umansky would have strayed if he wanted to. Moreover, social media was vital to Kyle’s career and livelihood, so she should not be so quick to bash it:
- He allegedly wasn’t faithful, so nothing would have helped except an open door policy for him. If he had been a “ski instuctor”, he would have been home late, too.
- QUOTE from Kyle:“I do think that social media is the worst thing for a relationship and people in the public eye,” what a hypocrite, that’s how she makes her money
- I don’t think being a ski instructor would have kept it in his pants.
Do you believe that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky will ever officially divorce, or will they stay married? Finally, could anything save their marriage, or is it wishful thinking? Let us know your thoughts, and stream RHOBH on Peacock.
