In December 2025, the two celebrated the birth of their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson. However, in May 2026, it was reported that the two had separated.
In a recent video on TikTok, Hewitt alluded to solo parenting her daughter. As she shared, “That’s not what I’m thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”
In the comments, Hewitt notably liked a response that read that “not staying with your partner” when they are postpartum was “insanely loser behavior.” The commenter added, “This is THE most vulnerable time in a woman’s life.” However, Hewitt has appeared to have since deleted the like.
Another commenter wrote, “I hope you don’t mean you’re doing the financial part alone… that would be insane given the circumstances. You seem like a lovely person and a wonderful mother! We’re all rooting for you.” In another deleted share, Hewitt reportedly wrote, “I am :).”
Hewitt Later Asked For Resume Submissions For A Mother’s Helper During An Instagram Story
Later, during an Instagram Story, Hewitt shared, “I’m currently trying to find an assistant/ mother’s helper / nanny type / basically [a] right hand person.” This text appeared over an image of her covered in lipstick marks, as she asked for resume submissions.
According to People, a source close to Davidson has denied that Hewitt is raising their daughter completely on her own. As they shared, “Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more.” The source added, “He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter.”
Previously, when news of Davidson and Hewitt’s breakup came to light, a source shared, “They were already struggling a bit while Elsie was pregnant. Things just happened so quickly between them, and they didn’t know each other very well.” At the time, however, they shared that the two were planning to “co-parent.”
