156/Silence have announced their new album, From a Distance, out Sept. 4 via Pure Noise, previewed by lead single “No Arms.”
“‘No Arms’ is about being without a way to protect yourself and what belongs to you,” the band say. “Being alone and afraid, not having any means to control the situations that befall on us. The overwhelming feeling of being helpless until we’re not. Until somebody saves us.”

The video for “No Arms” is directed by Errick Easterday and features a masked figure chasing a man through a city until the figure gives him the choice to join him, mirroring the song’s themes of helplessness and eventual salvation.
156/Silence are wrapping up their tour with Thornhill, Fox Lake, and Vianova before a handful of headline shows and a set at Inkcarcertaion. Later this summer, they’ll support Chiodos with sace6 and Calva Louise before playing Louder Than Life in September.
