Tottenham went from the highest high to the lowest low in just one year. 2025 was an ugly Premier League season for Spurs, but they still managed to win their first European trophy in over 40 years. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for Spurs this year.

Roberto De Zerbi will lead Spurs on Championship Sunday, but he’s not the only manager Tottenham’s had this season. West Ham isn’t on their first manager this season either. Since moving on from David Moyes in 2024, it’s been ugly for the Irons. These issues have only worsened this season, but they have shown some promise in recent form.
Nuno Espirito Santo has had them playing decently in 2026, but it’s still been a disaster of a season, one that leaves them on the verge of relegation; however, they’ve got a great opportunity on Sunday.
The final spot in the Premier League is quite simple. If Tottenham gets any points, they stay up; if West Ham wins and Tottenham loses, then they avoid relegation. Tottenham is -110 at home versus Everton, but Spurs haven’t won at home in 2026. West Ham’s entire season rests in the hands of their former manager, David Moyes.
West Ham has a slightly easier final match, where they are -130 favorites against Leeds. The Whites have struggled away from Elland Road, so West Ham has a great opportunity to steal 17th from Spurs.
According to prediction markets, West Ham has an 87% chance of getting relegated. I think there’s some decent juice in betting on them to stay up. Tottenham has had many opportunities to put West Ham away and simply hasn’t. Also, wouldn’t it be fun to see some chaos on the final Sunday of the season?
