Ayo, Anne Hathaway is not playing around in 2026.
The actress unveiled her Elle USA cover feature this week, titled “The Odyssey Era.” That name alone is doing serious work. Based on everything she’s been building lately, she’s earned it.
Anne announced the feature on Instagram, crediting editor-in-chief Nina Garcia and the Elle USA team. Her caption read “Now entering The Odyssey Era” followed by a blue heart, along with a full list of thank-yous to every person behind the shoot.
The photography came from Norman Jean Roy, and the styling was handled by Law Roach. That’s a pairing that doesn’t miss. Roach is one of the most respected stylists working today. His ability to translate a celebrity’s energy into a visual moment is genuinely on another level. Putting him with Anne on an Elle USA cover was always going to land.
The supporting team is just as stacked. Hair was done by Orlando Pita at Orlo Salon. Makeup by Fulvia Farolfi at MA+ Group. Nails by Deborah Lippmann. Set design by Marla Weinhoff at 11th House Agency. Kayla Webley Adler wrote the feature. Alexey Galetskiy Productions handled production.
Elle came correct with the full squad on this one. Every name on that list has earned their spot.
Now, “The Odyssey Era” as a title actually says something. The Odyssey is the ancient Greek epic – a long, complicated journey with plenty of chapters before the destination. Anne may or may not have meant it that literally. Either way, it fits. She’s been on a real run. She’s had fashion moments that stopped people mid-scroll. Her press appearances have reminded audiences she’s one of the most watchable stars working right now.
Over 344,000 people liked the announcement on Instagram, which is a strong response for a feature reveal.
Anne has been famous since The Princess Diaries in 2001. Les Misérables got her the Oscar in 2013. The Devil Wears Prada gave her one of the most quoted characters in recent film history. But somewhere in recent years, her approach to fashion shifted into something more intentional. She stopped just showing up. She started making a point.
Law Roach is central to that. He doesn’t just pick outfits. He curates an identity. His work is deliberate and precise. He treats a cover shoot like a thesis statement. Whatever he and Anne built for this Elle feature is going to be worth the look.
Nina Garcia at the helm makes the whole package even stronger. She’s been editor-in-chief of Elle USA since 2017. Under her leadership, the magazine has gone all-in on fashion storytelling. Garcia doesn’t just put celebrities on covers. She builds a frame around them – a full idea, not just a photoshoot.
The last few years tell you everything you need to know. Anne is locking in on something real. Elle USA timed this one right. This cover feels like a chapter heading for what comes next.
