Sorrentino became known to viewers after appearing on Jersey Shore from 2009 to 2012, earning the moniker “The Situation.” He later returned to the franchise with Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Since first appearing on the show, Sorrentino has appeared in a number of reality shows, including Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Big Brother. However, he recently teased a new career ambition.
Sorrentino was recently seen attending a party for the spring issue of VUE magazine, which sees the reality star and his wife Lauren appear on the cover. The magazine even promoted the issue with a carousel post on Instagram, showcasing various photos of the couple featured within. It was also teased that the couple will “reflect on family, gratitude, and the timeless beauty of what truly matters.”
While speaking with News 12 New Jersey, Sorrentino mused that he would be interested in a career in politics. He started out discussing the rehab center he opened in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, last year, with ambitions to open more. He shared, ”I’d like to save lives for the next three to five years with Archangel Centers. I’d like to have an Archangel Center in every 50 states.”
Sorrentino Ended The Conversation With Some Motivational Advice For His Fans & Followers
Following this, Sorrentino teased that he would be interested in a career in politics. He shared, “After that, you know, I’ll introduce everybody to Governor Situation.”
When asked about which party he leaned towards, Sorrentino shared, “I can’t announce it yet. However, he teased, “I think the residents of New Jersey would like no property tax.” Sorrentino might have been poking fun at his own past, as he spent eight months behind bars in 2019 over tax evasion. However, he has since revamped his image.
Following this, Sorrentino finished his share with a few words of advice to keep fans motivated. He shared, “As husband and wife, we like to be on the path of self-improvement which is mentally, physically, spiritually, personally, or professionally. Any negativity we like to get rid of, and that is a life long journey that we love to be on.”
