MAID patient groans ‘help me’ while dying because sedative didn’t work

The MAID provider reported Mr. D’s death to the coroner’s office. A coroner’s investigation concluded that the most probable explanation was an  unexpected response to midazalom which, in rare cases, instead of sedating people causes a paradoxical reaction: stiffening of the limbs, elevated heart rate, twitching, jerking or muscle spasms.
