Nancy Lee Grahn is a soap star who has appeared in a number of series over the years, including One Life to Live and General Hospital. Recently, the actress had a big health update to share, and it was quite terrifying. Since then, fans have also been sharing words of support.
Nancy Lee Grahn First Joined General Hospital In 1996
Grahn has had a long career in soaps. From 1978 to 1982, she was known for playing Beverly Wilkes on One Life to Live. Following this, he portrayed Julia Wainwright Capwell on Santa Barbara.
In 1996, Grahn was cast as Alexis Davis on General Hospital. She also played the character in a few episodes of the spin-off, Port Charles.
On social media, Grahn shared that her pup, Dillon, or “Dilly,” was in need of surgery. The poor dog was reportedly dealing with cancer.
Fortunately, the actress had good news to share with fans. In a post on Instagram, she wrote, “Dilly’s surgery went great! They cut the mean old cancer out and we’ve made her as comfortable as possible.
However, Grahn teased that Dilly’s recovery won’t be too comfortable, although it appeared to be brief. She continued, “2 [weeks] in the cone of shame and then we party.”

In the pic, Dilly could be seen resting while wearing a cover and a cone, resting her head on some blankets. She was also surrounded by a few stuffed animal friends, including one that appeared to be an axolotl.
Grahn has shared quite a few images of Dilly on her Instagram account. This past December, she shared a pic of Dilly trying to sneak a treat from a table of holiday appetizers.
With the recent post, fans shared their reactions to the positive update. A few had their own experiences with helping their pets during troubling times and even shared some advice. Of course, fans also made sure to wish Dilly a quick recovery. Some comments included:
