On Patrol: Live co-host Curtis Wilson has been MIA from the hit Reelz show, and viewers are wondering what is going on. They feel that he has lost interest in the series and think that he has just vanished in the way of Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin. Now, Curtis has shared a big work update, but what is going on with him? Keep reading for more details as to what is going on.
Curtis Wilson Keeps Exiting
On Patrol: Live has been stable with the co-hosts, as Dan Abrams is the primary host of the hit reality series. Sitting beside him have been Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin and Curtis Wilson, but the former exited, so Tom Rizzo took over. There are also guest hosts who sit in and give their opinions, which helps if someone needs to take a break. Curtis has been off a lot over the last year, and it has made viewers wonder many times if he is done with the show. Then, he comes back, and it is always a question mark. Over the last several months, Sticks has stepped back in to help fill in for Curtis, but that does not answer what is going on.
Now, he has shared a huge update regarding his job, or maybe it is a reminder of where he is. Curtis is not just a co-host on OPL, but he also works as a Captain at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. He is heavily involved in his community, and finally, he is an early morning news anchor on ABC in Columbia, South Carolina. However, his hours are not conducive to his flying back and forth from SC to New Jersey. A new promo poster was released for the morning show, airing from 5 to 7 am.

The On Patrol: Live co-host is also on the radio, so he is a busy man. Although he has always made time for his reality TV duties, it may be far harder now than ever before. Fans who saw this understood why he was MIA and empathized.
Nothing New
Although Curtis Wilson has held multiple jobs before he started On Patrol: Live, it seems to have gotten more intense. He is trying to do everything and do it well. However, viewers are seeing that this is unrealistic. He cannot do the morning show, go to work as a captain, and then fly to do OPL:
- That’s quite the swing shift he has on Fridays where he’s on OPL. I could never do it.
- If I had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. 5 days a week I would jump off the highest bridge I could find
- If I had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. one day a week I would jump off the highest bridge I could find.
It is unclear if Curtis Wilson is officially done with On Patrol: Live. For now, it seems fans are seeing his commitments. Moreover, they understand where he has been and are giving him grace.
